Baby Shower Planning Tips

When it comes to planning the perfect baby shower, Leah Merchant knows her stuff. She’s the owner and founder of Diaper Cakewalk, a diaper cake-making company. What is a diaper cake, you ask? It is “a clever, impressive, and practical baby shower gift, perfect for every new or expectant mom. It is a tower of individually rolled or wrapped disposable diapers arranged to look like a cake, with goodies hidden inside or goodies attached to the outside.“
I’ve seen diaper cakes before. In fact, I received one when I was pregnant with my little one. But…shhh…don’t tell. It wasn’t half as pretty as the ones from Diaper Cakewalk. These cakes are beautiful, fun, and colorful - oh, and did I mention…practical? It’s especially wonderful that the cakes are concocted with Pampers Swaddlers - no cheapy diapers to contend with.
These baby diaper cakes would make a great centerpiece for a baby shower or a creative gift for a mom-to-be in your life.
Back to baby shower planning…new moms usually know many other new moms or new moms-to-be and it’s very likely that you will throw a baby shower at some point (In fact, I just threw one today). It can be trying to coordinate all of the details (the decorations, the food, the games) so Merchant has compiled a great list of baby shower ideas for you to glean from.
