Fit Mama Friday: Ava’s Closet

It’s almost 11pm and I’m still awake. I should be in bed because we stayed up until 1am last night and tomorrow morning we’re running a 5K at 8:00am. It’s our 2nd 5K. My husband and I ran our first one back in early December with our Little Beauty in the jogging stroller. Tomorrow we’ll do the same thing and (hopefully) run it a little bit faster.
I’m confident that my daughter will be sporting the cutest tee on the track - this “Mommy’s Running Partner” tee from Ava’s Closet.
Ava’s Closet is a mom-owned business with an important mission. They seek to “inspire the next generation to stay active, live a wholesome lifestyle, celebrate their unique selves, and, most of all, to enjoy the adventures of life.” A portion of the proceeds from sales goes to charity and to supporting children’s athletic events.

What cute shirts! I love the illustration of the jogging stroller. I really like the entire line of t-shirts especially the “president not princess” and the “follow me” shirts. Great stuff!

These shirts are so cute!! I really like the “Mommy’s Running Partner”. I can appreciate that one, since I just started taking my kiddos running with me again. Although, all of them are so priceless.
I enjoyed your blog the other day when you briefly touched on all of the shirts out there that say “Princess” or “Diva”. I like putting shirts on my kids that say cute sayings like, “My Dad is My Hero” or “My Mom Rules.” I can’t wait to read when you go further into your thoughts about these other types of shirts.

I would love to win the “Daddy’s Running Parter” for my son to wear when his dad takes him out. I still can’t yet run (7 knee surgeries on one knee)but Dad loves taking little dude in the stroller and I ride along on the bike.

I just started running with my toddler now that it has warmed up a little. He makes sure that I keep the pace managable by getting out of the stroller to “run” every few blocks.
