I would love to win this. We moved Oregon from Europe 3 years ago and wanted to visit Tuscany before we came here but due to circumstances we didn’t go. This book would bring a little of the Tuscany we missed into our house. Thanks for the great giveaway!

What truly lovely gift. Alas, my mother passed away 12 years ago. If I were the lucky winner of this gift I would share it with my oldest sister, Geri. She turns 75 this year and is a mother herself. In fact I was born at the time she was starting her family so I grew up playing with my nieces and nephews. Geri had surgery recently so is homebound as she recovers. This gift would brighten her day and be fun to share. In fact, I think I’ll plan a similar meal to talk over and share with her.

I have never heard of anything like this but it is a GREAT idea especially for people like me who are not naturally gifted cooks. My mom spent so many years cooking for me that I would love to share this great meal with her especially because we are Italian and adore Italian food and her 60th birthday falls right after Mother’s Day! This post made me laugh - the first meal I ever cooked for a couple of guy friends, one of whom is now my husband, was chicken saltimboca. In fact, I called my mom from college in a panic for help, telling her I was “cooking chicken for men!” We still laugh about it - and I’d love to try someone else’s saltimboca!

Not only does the food sound delicious, what a special and exciting experience! I have always wanted to try something like this but have been hesitant because of the price in case it wasn’t all that I hope. This sure would be a wonderful way to try! Mother’s Day is a difficult day for me in many ways. Despite that, I am grateful to have my own beautiful daughters to share the day with and hope to be for them all that I did not have.
