We have a hand-held steam cleaner, but no scrubbies, no retractable cord, and it’s too heavy and awkward to use for everyday life. Your review of this little gadget sounds wonderful! The way our carpet and upholstery looks (scary, truthfully!), I’d really love to win it!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished I had one of these. We have a steam cleaner, but it’s so cumbersome and such a process to use that it seems silly to get it out for just a small spot or two. So instead those spots just don’t get cleaned up as well as they should. Between a dog and a toddler, we have our share of spots.

As a homeowner with a dog, two cats, and a six year old son having a heavy duty spot remover handy would be a Godsend. We only have one carpeted room in the house and I really don’t want to replace it until our son is more grown up. Something like this would help to keep it from looking so dingy.

I love that it has the reach hose/head now. I had one several years ago and it was a little cumbersome to get to smaller areas. I have a Little Green Machine but that is a pain to get out for a small mess where this would be perfect.

Dad’s dog is not well! Has accidents all the time and he’s getting frustrated. He’s 94 1/2 and can’t really maneuver the large carpet steamer. This would be good for him - it is only a small dog.

This would be perfect - I am used to pulling out a cleaning product and then applying some serious elbow grease to the spots that turn up (and they do turn up!) but this would make things so much easier. I think it would be especially useful for carpeted stairs, which seem to attract stains at a terrible rate!

Thank you for all of the wonderful contests! This contest is especially important to me. Why? Dirt Devil products have always been my favorite because they always do the job, never leave any sign of “the mess”, they are lightweight and easy to carry throughout the house. I would use the Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber Power Reach in my Family Room (mostly) because it has carpeting, and we have 3 small dogs. Our oldest dog, Muffin, is eleven, a cute Shih-Tzu who has recently developed congestive heart failure. She takes a diuretic and heart medication everyday. Muffin never had accidents before beginning the meds. But, at her age and the medication working…she occasionally has unavoidable accidents. The Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber Power Reach would be a welcome addition to my collection of cleaning supplies, as I’m sure it would not leave any tell-tale signs of Muffin’s “accidents.” My Family Room carpet would remain clean and fresh!

Ok.. Your husband sounds soooo cool! I need someone around the house that likes to try out new things and clean. (Other than me.. I think I’m becoming OCD about it, I can’t go to bed at night if things aren’t tidy. I don’t need to dust, but I MUST tidy up.)
I have 6 kids, one dog, two doves and countless friends. I need this just for my sanity. Luckily we got deep green carpets in the main rooms in the house (that we don’t have hard flooring in) but it would be nice to help the rugs we have and some of the drinks that spill around coffee tables, etc.

Unfortunately these cute and handy little devices just encourage people who know nothing about carpet cleaning to SET in stains so they can NEVER be properly cleaned.
Hint #1: A stain/spot should NEVER be scrubbed! Stains should be blotted with a clean white cloth usually moistened with whatever solution (water, white vinegar…etc.) best suits the stain/spot being addressed. This information comes straight from the carpet manufacturers! Scrubbing violates the carpet and stain guard warranty.
As a professional carpet cleaner I often encounter the results = set stains, carpets that have for all practical purposes been bleached, dyed or had irrevocable damage done to the fibers. Of course folks then expect me to correct their mistake; often a year or more after they made it…you get the picture.

We have a few of those “mystery spots” around our house too! They just seem to appear out of thin air. Every time I mention renting a cleaner, my husband says we should wait ’til we have more spots to make the money and effort worthwhile. I can see how handy it would be to be able to whip out this little gem and bid ‘adios’ to the mystery spots.

I love this! A friend of mine has one that look similar but bigger and I’ve borrowed it from her a couple of times. It worked really well. Oh, wow! This would be sooo great. There is only one carpeted room in our downstairs- the kids’ playroom. It has accumulated MANY little spots and stains (orange play clay to name one of many!). This would be so handy and my husband would love a clean carpet versus having to replace it:-). Thanks!!

I so need this. my daughter has very light carpeting and I am always spot cleaning. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Hey, how long did it take you to get your zoobie? I ordered 3 (one of which I need to bring as a gift to a party) and when I track it it always says “ready to ship” never a shipped date and when it is expected to arrive. I dont want to come empty handed to the party

After just stepping in melted chocolate on my carpet, I could definitely use this little guy at our house! With four boys, the stains are everywhere, and they really are hard to get out with conventional tools. This looks like it would do the job, though!

I’m a coffee-drinking artist. This means I always get both coffee and paint all over the place. I am good about cleaning up my messes, but all I normally use is a bunch of towels and water. This would be so handy to have in my art room.

What a great little product! This is an exceptional alternative to dragging out the bulky carpet cleaner that takes 15 minutes to set up — all for a small stain. Before I could get my carpet cleaner set up, this little guy would have the job done!

Over the years, carpet cleaning has gotten better and better. I’m so glad there is a lightweight, small scrubber that takes up little space and makes the chore easy enough to take care of it right away. My main spills now come from grandchildren, and I want to be able to say “that’s OK, we’ll take care of it” without dreading the job.
