    Themed Weekend: I Feel Pretty

    By metropolitanmama | October 3, 2008

Hello Beautiful Mamas! This weekend is for YOU. It’s fun to ooh and aah over baby gear and knick-knacks for kids, but sometimes it’s also nice to read about products (and have a chance to win products…) especially for you. So stay tuned…

And, in the meantime, sing along to that famous tune…

    I feel pretty,
    Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and bright!
    And I pity
Any girl who isn’t me tonight.

    I feel charming,
    Oh, so charming
It’s alarming how charming I feel!
    And so pretty
That I hardly can believe I’m real.

See the pretty girl in that mirror there:
Who can that attractive girl be?
    Such a pretty face,
    Such a pretty dress,
    Such a pretty smile,
    Such a pretty me!

    I feel stunning
    And entrancing,
Feel like running and dancing for joy,
    For I’m loved
    By a pretty wonderful boy!

I would say darn you for putting that infernal song in my head…but then I would have to admit that I own the soundtrack and think it is EXCELLENT house cleaning music.

I had to laugh when I saw this post. I sing this to my daughter when we’re getting ready all the time. She now sings it with me and it cracks me up.
