I have heard great things about the Flip. I actually purchased the RCA Small Wonder instead but would love to be able to compare the two. They are great for capturing things quick and easy to transport too.

WHen I first saw one of these I wanted it. For the same reasons as yourself. To capture those little moments that you want to last forever. Well, hubby bought me a nicer camera instead that took good little videos as well. Unfortunately that was the camera that was stolen a couple of weeks ago when our home was broken into. So, I’m back to square one wanting something to capture those little moments. Hum, just thought, hope my parents brought their camera, it’s better than the one we have left.
The Flips are quite popular aren’t they? My video camera burned out several years ago…and sadly we’ve never replaced it. I think of all the things that I should be recording. It kinda breaks my heart to know that I don’t have those moments on camera. This would be great to win and keep with you at all times. That way if you are ever involved in a vehicle accident you could film the positions of the vehicles etc., proving the other person came in your lane and hit you and that you didn’t hit them, especially if you are in an area where there were no witnesses. You could also get their license plate that way, as well as a picture of them if they should claim in court that they weren’t driving and that their vehicle was stolen.

Its amazing how far technology has come in so little time. I remember when the first camcorders came out. My FIL bought one and it was a behometh. The thing weighed like 20 pounds. Plus it had a wire attached to it so you couldn’t go too far while filming. Unbelievable!

I heard about this but knew I wouldnt be able to afford it. These flip cameras were such a great invention. And the new flip minoHD – too cool! Flip has tapped the market of on-the-go moms and dads, wanting to capture special moments with their kids. Being so small and portable, makes it all reasonable and possible. Love it.
I love that this camcorder is simple to use and can take up to 60 minutes of action. It is enough time to get any family special occaision or vacation days activities. I’d use it when hunting mushrooms to teach my granddaughters what to look for and to “get my mushroom eyes.” You can always find them faster after you have spotted the first Morels of the season.
It is so nice that someone made a camcorder that is basically point and shoot. Not being a technically savvy person, this is the best of both worlds!

Wehave a 10 year old (literally, we got it when we got married) video camera that is on its way out. This would be a way cool replacement.
Some dingwad friend of my husband’s stole my video camera when we moved 3 yrs. ago and I’ve missed 3 yrs. of moments to video of my daughter. I hope whichever dingwad friend stole it gets a groin rash every single time he uses my stolen camera!

This camera is sure genesis. It’s so small, convenient and most of all practical for a busy Mom who wants to capture memories that will last a lifetime. Oooooh… a camcorder. My wife has been getting into photography lately. I was able to get her a new camera last year and she’s like a addict! She has taken several short videos with her digital camera, but nothing like what she could do with this! She has been doing a wonderful job recording my boys youth. This would be a neat tool for her to have!
this woud be so great, i still have the old school kind from the 90s with the actual mini tap in it! this would be such a better change, i hate having to lug that thing out!
I have been thinking about getting a Flip. I hardly ever get out our old camcorder, the little mini tapes are such a hassle. A Flip would be fun for our whole family to use.

I see this advertised alot in blogs and whatnot. I love the concept of the built in usb port to make uploads simple. I don’t have a video camera and shoot with a DSLR so I feel my kids are missing out on something they will enjoy later in life. I don’t have any videos of myself as a kid and I wish I could see my mannerisms and hear my little voice from way back then ( not really THAT far back ;) lol) I love seeing videos of my husband when he was 3 or so it’s so sweet to see and hear him as a little boy. What an amazing prize–it’s so convenient that it plugs right into the computer via USB! This would be great for me–I’m getting married in a few months and I’d love to be able to film the ceremony!
