FOR KIDS: Swiggies Wrist Water Bottles

20080808 303 150x100 FOR KIDS: Swiggies Wrist Water BottlesHere’s a stocking stuffer idea for kids-on-the-go: Swiggies Wrist Water Bottles ($12.95).

Essentially, Swiggies are miniature water bottles that you wear on your wrist. Each bottle holds 5.5 ounces of water so, if your kids wear one on each wrist, they’ll have 11 ounces of water with them…and they’ll have their hands-free as they run, walk, bike, or hike!

06 FOR KIDS: Swiggies Wrist Water BottlesI do realize that this concept is a bit dorky, but it’s also quite useful…and I think kids will get a kick out of it!

Swiggies also sells an adult version if you’re so inclined to give them a try.

P.S. When you peruse the website, pay no mind to the crazy 80′s hairdos and clothing styles. It is unclear to me why the multimedia hasn’t been updated, but it is rather entertaining actually. You might see some familiar images from your past – poofy hair, massive bangs held up by hair spray, leotards, and spandex.

WIN IT! One winner will receive a Swiggies Kids Wrist Water Bottle set in the color of his/her choice. To enter, leave a comment on this post prior to Monday, December 15 at midnight (don’t forget to follow the rules). * Winner must provide a U.S. mailing address.

  9. Katelyn Schroeder says:

Wow- these look super fun- I wonder how long it takes for ‘the thrill’ to run out and then you have to come up with another way to get them to drink H2O.

  10. Erica says:

Lol, I’m glad that you mentioned it’s kind of dorky, because that was my very first thought. After that thought, however, I realized that it would mean I don’t have to carry their water when they’re tired of holding it, so I started to like it a bit more. I’d be willing to give it a shot. :) Thanks!

  11. Valerie Mitchell says:

    I like the blue ones!

  12. Soha Molina says:

  18. Karen Gonyea says:

These look pretty darn neat. Not having to stop your stride to take a drink, this would be good for kids when your walking in the snow and they insist on having their sippy but fall because they don’t pay attention when drinking. This may help with that. I like the green but the colors are all very cute. Thanks.
