Good Reads

Me Ra {of Me Ra Koh Photography} and her family are living in Thailand right now – what an adventure! She just wrote an inspiring post about the Thai culture and how they treat children: Feeling Invisible. It really made me think and I’ve started to be more conscientious about “paying attention” to children as a result.

New Study: Breastfeeding Reduces Risk of SIDS by 50% {via The Motherwear Breastfeeding Blog}.

I’m not perfect and that’s okay. Steph’s recent post – “The Imperfectionist” – reminded me of that. She has such a way with words.

Nell {Casual Friday Everyday} talks about her past as a “silly carefree girl” and how that girl is still inside of her…Sail Me Away.

Miscellany

Check out the new TOMY digital camera. It’s a full-featured 5 megapixel digital camera with a built-in full color ZINK printer. I want one! But they’re currently only available in Japan. Ay, Caramba!

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see pro-breastfeeding ads like these ones in the U.S.? I especially love the one from Australia.

This is such a great decorating idea – Framed Vintage Records {via tutus and turtles}.

ohdeehoh shares some beautiful photographs of inspiring rooms.

Love Garage Sales? Head on over to Garage Sales Tracker – a new website that allows you to input your zip code and find local sales. I entered my zip code and there were no results so apparently the site is still growing, but I like the concept {via Momma In Flip Flops2}.

  1. Oh, you are so sweet! Thank you for the link up!

    Steph

  2. Blessed says:

The Garage Sale site looks neat – I’ll have to check it out, also I loved Steph’s post about being imperfect – it was right on target!

  3. Angie says:

The garage sale website is cool. There were a few in IL but not near me. And thanks for letting us know about the BlogHer link. I really would like to go but didn’t know they had limited tickets so didn’t get them before they sold out. And I’m here in IL so it would be a neat experience.

  4. keyomi says:
