thanks for the consumer report article. craziness. no wonder new moms are so terrified of co-sleeping and carriers.
i hardley ever comment on your Tuesday Tours because I am so busy checking out the links. I did not read the breastfeeding info but I thought you might find this interesting.
Jaudice is very common at high altitude. Lily was born right before a huge snow storm that went on for days and therefore I could not stick her in a window with sunlight. We ended up putting her on the light but the whole time I was dealing with the doctor kept saying nurse her all of the time. That will push the excess billirubins out of her system. This morning I was watching a babies story and the brand new baby had elevated levels of jaundice but not as high as Lily. The mom wanted to breastfeed but according to the doctor she also had to supplement due to the jaundice. I was so mad – I wanted to tell that mom to not listen to her doctor and breastfeeding was just fine.
Tuesday Tours is a neat idea. Great stuff! This is my first visit to your site. I will be back.
I entered the Spoonfuls of Stories contest (fingers crossed)! And thanks for the heads up about that CR article. I’m going to leave a complaint!
Awww. Thanks for the “award”! Glad you liked the tags:-) You have some great links here.
Umm, I have to win the Disney contest. I have to.
Thanks for the nod Stephanie. And for putting together another fabulous web tour. You know I’m partial to the Disney/Macy’s contest. Did you enter? Here’s to hoping that one of us (or Nicole) will be the lucky Arizona winner!
Any good coupons for gifts? I found some at shopadvisor.org for Beau-coup.com
