FOR THE KING OF THE BARBECUE: Grill Light by HomeWetBar.com

bbq sslightmed FOR THE KING OF THE BARBECUE: Grill Light by HomeWetBar.comMy husband is the GRILL GUY.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I have never once grilled anything in my life.

It’s one of those things that he just automatically does. Kind of like I’m the one who always writes out the birthday cards…even if it’s to HIS mom or dad or sibling.

One day, I’m going to get out there and try it out. But, for now, I’ll just enjoy his talent.

He can grill up New York steaks and barbecue chicken and succulent salmon filets like nobody’s business.

Is your husband/dad/grandpa/brother a barbecue buff?

v3 top logo 300x76 FOR THE KING OF THE BARBECUE: Grill Light by HomeWetBar.comCheck out this flexible, cordless stainless steel grill light ($42.99) from HomeWetBar.com. With the bright LED light, he’ll be able to grill after dusk without hassle. It clips right on the grill and doesn’t require any cords so it’s super convenient.

Just say no to that cheesy matching apron and grill mitt set for your barbecue-loving guy. He’ll like this WAY better.

And, hey, YOU might even get an opportunity to use it too.

My Hubby likes to smoke meats and so will spend hours in a day at the grill/smoker – sometimes cooking until way after dark. This light is a great idea. Thanks for pointing it out!

  2. myfloatingworld says:

We cook and dine “European-style” – late into the evening. I could see using this light for outdoor grilling and how it would eventually disappear into my teenager’s room to be surreptitiously used as a book light.

  3. Nancy says:

What a great idea!! I BBQ during the week, but hubby takes over on weekends…
He does a great steak or ribbs. Me, I do Pork Steaks.. YUM…

  4. Sarah T. says:

I too am completely clueless when it comes to the BBQ – I am more than happy to let that be my husband’s domain! And, since he is a HARD core grillmaster (he’s bbq-ed in every type of weather – even snow!), I know he would think this a very cool gadget.

  5. Anne at Catholic Mommy Brain says:

This is a really cool idea. Hubby would love one.

  6. Ashley says:

My husband is usually the *grill master* however, I had him teach me when then meat is done, for the nights he is at the fire station. I love grilled chicken and veggies!

  7. Becca says:

My husband and I both enjoy grilling, and he has even recently figured out how to smoke meat on our grill. This light would come in handy when he finally smokes a big piece of meat, like a brisket or turkey breast, that will take hours.

  8. Jinxy says:

My Dad and Hubby are the same way. They do all the grilling so I have no idea how to.

  9. susan says:

We love to cook out and now we can still do it into the wee hours of the night. Hee, hee how fun!

  10. Belinda A. says:

Both my hubby and my dad like to grill, but I too am embarrassed to admit that I’ve never once grilled myself!

  11. Angie says:

Hubs is definitely the grillmaster around here. I only go out to flip things when he tells me too or I yell that something is on fire LOL

We are in IL and grill year round. Yum!

  12. erica says:

Yum, I love it when Chris fires up the barbecue! We just got more propane for the summer, so this might be a good idea.

  13. Maggie Smith says:

My husband is the most amazing BBQ chef and I know he would love this. I didn’t even know something like this existed! YEAH, thanks for the opportunity.

  16. Erin Hill says:

For his b-day in January, I bought my husband a grilling set and grilling bible(because he doesn’t know what he’s doing!) for his new grill. This would be the perfect complementary gift for Father’s Day.

  17. Erin Hill says:

You guys are absolutely adorable! And your post of gifts are some awesome choices for my husband. Thanks for doing all the research so I can just sit back and Twitter all day without worrying about what to get him for Father’s Day. ;)

  18. Alka says:

My whole fam could use this and its so neat that it doesn’t need anything additional besides the light :)

  19. DeAun says:

Again, another amazing idea. I don’t know how many times we have had to bring meat in the house to “see” if it is done only to have to go back out to the grill and put it back on to complete cooking. Why didn’t I think of that!

  20. Danielle says:

We got a barbecue last summer and we are really enjoying it already this season. My husband would love to win this for late night bbq!

  21. Chris says:

What a cool light. It would give him an excuse to bbq really late. We could have an intimate evening fish fry!

  22. Claudia says:

too cool ! we do alot of BBQ Parties in the summer and always have to drag out a Light for Hubby to see what he burns ..lol … just kidding! :) this would be perfect !

    thanks

Great thinking. I could finally grill once the sun goes down.

  25. Michele P. says:

My hubby enjoys grilling very much! From corn on the cob, to kabobs to steak and everything in between. One of my favorites is grilled tortillas-cut up some BBQ steak and add some pico de gallo and lime juice and you have pretty yummy carne asada tacos!
