    Oh, the Places You’ll Go

    By Stephanie | June 29, 2009

“You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
    You can steer yourself
    any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the girl who’ll decide where to go.

    And will you succeed?
    Yes! You will, indeed!
    (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)

    KID, YOU’LL MOVE MOUNTAINS!”

    - Dr. Seuss (Oh, the Places You’ll Go)

    oh the places you'll go

Yes, you’ll move mountains and you’ll change the world, Sweet Girl. I just know it.

Our 2-year-old is wearing the Hampus tennies*** (on sale for $23.54) by Vincent Shoes. They are stylish, sporty, and super fun.

Check out a few of the other styles:

Want to buy a pair? Use discount code METROMAMA-20-OFF to get 20% off any regularly priced items (through July 3rd), or shop the summer sale (up to 75% off).

***Note: these shoes are definitely on the “narrow” side so if your toddler has pudgy feet, you might want to consider another style.

How is it that I’ve never heard that particular Dr. Seuss poem before? It’s so gosh darn cute. As is the little miss in the photo! :)

I love those “Chrissy” shoes in the middle. So cute! P.S. Sierra is sitting next to me, and she said your blondie’s name when she saw the picture. :)

Love this book! We read it to the kids graduating from preschool and Kindergarden this year at work.

HAHA – how funny. My middle son has barney rubble feet, so we’d probably have to pass. Luckily my baby boy has skinny little footsies.
