I don’t like coffee {except when it’s super cold outside and other options are not available}.
But I really love coffee ice cream. It’s so smooth and creamy and nummy.
I recently had an opportunity to try out Starbucks’ new line of ice cream. My review? It’s delicious!
There are four flavors: Caramel Macchinto, Mocha Frappuchino, Java Chip Frappuchino, and Coffee – all available in one pint tubs in the freezer aisle at your local grocery store. The tubs retail for $3.99, but you can get a $1.00 off coupon on the Starbucks Ice Cream website.
To celebrate National Ice Cream Month and the launch of their new ice cream line, Starbucks is giving you an opportunity to send a free pint of ice cream to a friend on Facebook. My recent survey showed that 83% of you are on Facebook…and, if you’re not, here’s a good excuse to join.
Here’s the “scoop” on the promotion:
- Fill out the form here to send a pint to a friend on Facebook.
- Starbucks will be giving away just over 800 pints per hour, today through 7-19.
- These pints are going fast (I’ve tried twice with no luck so far…) so be sure to try at the very beginning of each hour.
- The promotion will end at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 19.
- People in Colorado, Louisiana, and Tennessee are not eligible.

I am a facebook addict. I admit it. I love posting pictures and updates, checking other people’s updates and pages, and generally just roaming around on the site. Terrible, I know. And you’re right. I tried sending the ice cream to someone on Facebook at 3:05, and it was too late. Goodness gracious!
I am on FB! I check it several times a day from my iphone but only post about once a week or so. For me it has been a great way to reconnect with old friends!
I go through facebook phases – sometimes I’m way too into it, and check it several times a day, sometimes I let it go for awhile. I don’t post updates myself very often, but love seeing what everyone else is up to. (and this icecream looks deLICIOUS!)

Yummy! I have heard only rave reviews about this ice cream, so I can’t wait to try it. My hubby would love it, too, as he loves iced coffee way more than I do…I prefer mine hot. But these flavors sound so delicious!

i’m all over Facebook. Most of my cousins that I would love to catch up with regularly are surprisingly NOT on Facebook. However, a myriad of friends from childhood, college, the military, and new friends are on there. So, it’s GREAT!
I don’t actually use it for business, purposefully. However, I’ve gained a new patient and several valuable networking contacts through Facebook.
I am on FB and I get email alerts on my iphone when I get messages and comments. I also post pictures of what my kids and I are up to on there with pictures taken from my phone. It is so quick and easy to do. I love that I can share a picture once by posting it on FB and a ton of my family can all see it. We don’t live close to any family, so this is a great way to keep in touch.
I am such a huge fan of Starbucks coffee and ice-cream. this combination is gr8. i would love to get the coupons. we have a big joint family of 2 brothers, spouses and a kid..we could really use the coupons! :)

I have a whole house of ice cream lovers, but I save the “special” ice creams for myself because the others wouldn’t appreciate it. I have a facebook account but don’t have a clue what to do with it. MY SIL has one so she could keep in touch with all of her friends (they moved to Florida from New England) and family back here. I occasionally look at her entries but that’s about it!

I am on Facebook and I love it!! I check my account a couple times each day — more often if I have a Scrabble game going with someone. Because of FB I found one of my dearest friends from high school and we now talk on a regular basis again. I’m able to keep up with my cousins’ lives and see pictures of their kids that I wouldn’t otherwise see. It’s great!
As a teacher, I had to decide on lots of boundaries for FB ‘friending’. I only friend students once they graduate, and I created a special group within FB that prohibits them from seeing anything posted by my other friends. I have several parents of students who have sent friend requests and I decided to only friend them once their child has graduated. I’m not friended with any administrators because I want to have the freedom to vent a little about work now and then (and I want my teacher friends to have the same freedom). Turning down friend requests can be uncomfortable, but I always send a note explaining why. So far it has gone very well!

I’ve just recently joined Facebook and an very surprised at how much I enjoy it. Starbucks is one of my favorite places and I would love to try their ice cream.
I’ve been on FB for only a few months, maybe 6 or so. I avoided it as much as I could, but I ended up being reeled in by friends. I do like it better than MySpace, and my friends list is mostly made up of people I *actually* know (save for one), unlike my MySpace. :P

Coffee – I love it all the time, in just about any form – hot, iced, slushed, made into a candy, and of course ice cream! I make it myself at home and work, buy it at the Starbucks down the street or in the one in the supermarket. Can’t get enough. :D
And I am a facebook user as well – I have found that I get tired of a lot of the games and that sort of thing (people “poking” you, etc.) but I love keeping up with old friends and posting photos, etc.

I’m on Facebook, but not often enough to try to win something that way. However, I will admit to really liking Starbucks Ice Cream. I bought a small amount of their mocha almond swirl and it was extremely tasty. I have a lot of fond memories of coffee ice cream from growing up so this would be right up my alley.

I am not on Facebook and have no interest at all in starting it. My daughter and grandchildren are though, but I don’t think they are particularly avid users of it. Like you, I do not like coffee, but since I do like some mocha baked goods, I suspect that the ice cream would be a good treat. I know others in the family would be more than happy to help me eat it!

I would love it if Starbucks came up with an ice cream based on the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Mocha Frappuccino. It was a limited edition flavor and I really hope they bring it back.

Coffee ice cream is a favorite of my husband’s so I am hoping to win this for him (well, for me too, I guess).

I am like th Starbucks kid. I drink a venti iced latte every day. I wouldn’t mind eating coffee ice cream every night for dessert, too.
