When we were kids, my sister and I were allowed to get up whenever we wanted to open our stockings. Presents were off limits until the whole family was ready, but stockings were free game. Sometimes we'd wake up SUPER early, sneak out and get the stockings, and then go back to our room and dump them on our bed, squealing with delight about whatever we got. Then we'd either play with stuff or go back to bed and wake up later. Good memories. I love Christmas! I love getting a stocking, too!
