This past themed weekend – “The Mother I Want to Be” – has given me a chance to reflect on who I am and who I want to be. Heaven knows I need reminders to be more intentional about being Available, Fun, Well-Read, Fit, and Selfless.
Of course, I want to be many, many other things as well…Kind. Merciful. Good. Forgiving. Organized. Intelligent. A Leader. A Servant. A Friend. Etc. But I could only write so much over the weekend.

This was my favorite themed weekend you have done, at least since I became a reader. I loved hearing about the kind of mom you want to be and it really made me think about the kind of mom I want to be and how I’m doing at that goal.
I want to be a sensitive mom that the girls can come to and talk to about any problems they may have- but more importantly recognizing they may be going through a tough time before they come to me.
I want to be a supportive mom- no matter the decisions they make, I want to be there for them. I want them to never be afraid that if they make a choice that I’m going to love them any less.
