  1. Erica says:

I thought the “Does God Have a Specific Plan…” article was quite interesting. I’d say I mostly agree with him, but not fully. I’ve talked about this with the girls that I mentor, and I tell them that my take on this subject is that He gives us the tools and the free will to choose and to choose well what we do for the most part, but for most people there are also checkpoints along the way He’d like us to reach. How we get there is our choice, but if we’re following His “big picture” plan for our life we’ll get to those checkpoints along the way. If we get there it means to Him that we’re obedient, and it means to us that we’re on the right track. Does that make sense?

  2. Krista says:

Well, I would say that my parents probably would have bought one of those units for my grandma if they had been around 7 years ago. I think it’s a cool idea!

And now, after reading about the baby living through the abortion I think I need to go to bed. How awful. :(

  3. Marcela says:

The baby after abortion, my heart hurts thinking about it.
I don’t even know what to say about that, so so sad.

  4. NGS says:

Oh, people pods? Really? It’s really a shame that the elderly are treated with so little respect in most American households. They are members of families, not outdoor pets. I just can’t get behind that.

  5. kristen says:

Wow. That boys surviving the abortion story really sobered me. What a tragedy and what evidence for the miracle of life. Thanks.

  6. Melissa says:

I really enjoy Tuesday Tours it leads me to articles I wouldn’t have found other wise.
But I have to say it totally brought happy tears to my eyes that you featured me on your Tuesday Tours. To me you are a pretty famous blogger and I always get so excited when you comment & now you featured me. Thanks!

Going to check out some of the links now!!

  7. Sarah R says:

The portable housing for seniors doesn’t sound very appealing to me at all. I can’t get past the picture of my parents or grandparents living in my shed! If someone doesn’t want to live in a nursing home, would they really think that this would be a better alternative? Or if someone doesn’t want their parents or grandparents living in their home, is having them live in the backyard a better option? I also can’t believe it is very secure. I wish there were more home health care options where elderly people could safely live in their own homes.

I don’t think I will be able to read the abortion story. So sad. Our country has a long way to go as far as how we treat people in the beginning of life and at the end of life.

  8. Ashly says:

Thanks for the link, Stephanie! I’m with Melissa – a little star struck :)

  9. JeanineE says:

Thank you again Stephanie for linking to my blog. Just when I wonder if anyone is reading ‘out there’ you link to me and I honestly feel so special. So, thanks again. I really really appreciate it! And…as soon as I get from underneath this pile of things to do, I’ve been thinking and rethinking my thoughts on your generation y post, I will add my comment there. Such great posts!
