Thanks for the link!
I love the one family, thirty years idea – I would love to do that too – gee I’d better get started! :) It was fun to watch the hairstyles change year to year! :)
Thanks so much for the link love! All of your link recommendations are always great!
Oh, thanks, Steph!! :)

Used stuff rules. I totally agree. It’s also green!
I wished your sweetie a happy birthday. The love you both have for each other completely warms my heart.

One family – thirty years is a great idea. I wonder if we have pictures of us going back the past nine…
Always ALWAYS great links, mama. So many of those were my favorites of the week, too!
I finally answered a question you asked me back in January about parenting books: http://sortacrunchy.typepad.com/sortacrunchy/2010/06/parenting-books-some-favorites-of-mine.html Thanks for the inspiration!
I am so happy to see the link about adoption! Sometimes I feel like there is too much emphasis here about being pregnant and giving birth. We are in the middle of our first adoption so it is really on my heart right now!
Also glad to see the Farmer’s Market skirt. I just picked up a similar one at Target. I’m actually in style for once!
Great links!
Hi Tiffany! That adoption post was important and sobering, wasn’t it? I almost want to print it out, tape it to my mirror, and read it every day!
I think you’re right that there is often an emphasis on pregnancy and birth here. I don’t intentionally leave out adoption (I’m actually a huge advocate for it), but I mostly just write my “story” – and giving birth is a huge part of that. Both of my births were miraculous, amazing experiences (that I think about daily).
Congrats on your adoption! I’m so happy for you and wish you peace and joy on your journey.
I agree, the adoption link was wonderful (as many of your links are, Stephanie!) I kept nodding my head with each point she made.
And hello Tiffany, fellow adoptive mama here! To two girls (7 and 5).
I just love spending my Tuesday computer time looking through your links. Love.
Thanks for the great links. I appreciated the one about talking to your kids about sex. It is so important to talk to our kids about sex, about drugs and other morals and values we wish to instill in them.
Wonderful roundup of links! And, happy birthday to Tim!!
