I have washed a few green bags when they are looking like they really needed it but I always ask for my meat to be wrapped in a brown bag. I never put raw meat in my green bags so I am not concerned about EColi and so much of our food does not come from grocery stores where I feel most of the EColi cases begin.

Loved the article on being "Busy"...passed that one along.

I was surprised to see Trader Joe's on the list too. That study was a great reminder to me that processed foods/drinks are still processed...even if they are from the local health food store.

As always - a great list.

I don't know why I had never thought about the whole cleaning the reuseable grocery bags thing... thanks for pointing out that article. It amazes me how often something that common sense eludes my thought processes :)

Wow, Emily's post really tugged at my heart. It's nice to know that other moms love motherhood as much as I do, but all moms have their "moments." Sometimes I feel so wimpy when I have a hard time with just ONE child and most people have multiple children! No matter how many children God has in store for us, I will always try to remember how wonderful yet, at times, tough new mommy-hood can be and try to be encouraging to new mothers.

Wow on the list of lead contamination!! It's not just juice boxes though. They say bottled juice, too. I am wondering if there is something that is a particular problem with grape & apple juice, or if that was just what they tested. Even Santa Cruz Organics was guilty in their grape juice. Yikes!!

I just facebooked the article on children's juice boxes. We rarely use them as we have made many lifestyle changes in our house but now we will eliminate using them entirely! Thanks for the information!
