Back-to-School Laminating Projects with Fellowes

Homeschooling has officially begun in our house.

You may be wondering how we manage to run a home business, a home school, and a home? Get back to me in about a year and I’ll let you know. ;)

Our 5-year-old recently painted a duck with her grandma. We decided to make it into a placemat with our Fellowes Saturn2 95 Laminator. We plugged it in, hit the power button, selected our paper thickness – and the machine was ready-to-go in 5 minutes. Then, we simply slipped the painting in a laminator pouch and sent it through. Couldn’t be easier to use.

looking at her newly laminated placemat Back to School Laminating Projects with FellowesI especially appreciated the HeatGuard Technology, which is double-wall insulation to ensure that little hands won’t get burned if they touch the exterior.

In the coming months, we also plan to use the laminator to make flash cards (body parts, colors, Spanish words, ABCs, etc) and to safeguard important documents.

You can buy the Fellowes Saturn2 95 Laminator for $99.99 (+ FREE shipping) at Staples this week!

Your girls and their drawings! I always love the 35 PERSONALIZED pictures they bring with them when you all come over. They are both little artistes!

Making a place mat is a great idea. We have a laminator and I use it all the time for making dry erase drawing and letter practice sheets.

I can’t wait to hear more about your experience with homeschooling. I’m very interested in homeschooling my daughter, but my husband would like her to go to public school. I’m trying to figure out what would be the best and the best way to deal with it all.

It’s been a busy year! I logged in to my Reader for the first time in a month today with over 1000 unread posts… no way I’ll ever go through all of those! But, I decided to catch up on your blog at least :)

Anyway – we’re LOVING homeschool! A laminator is high-up on my wish list… thanks for the review of this one!
