Synopsis: Metropolitan Mama is geared to moms who are pregnant or who have little ones under age five (although all moms are welcome!). Blog posts revolve around fitness, fashion, freebies, and general information to help moms navigate the challenges and wonders of early motherhood.
Bio: Stephanie Sheaffer works in the PR industry by day (part-time, from home) and blogs at Metropolitan Mama by night. She has her B.A. in English, her Masters in Educational Counseling, and dreams of pursuing her Ph.D. She hopes that someday she will appear on the Oprah show and is currently working a book to land her into that illustrious book club. She considers time to be her most precious asset and she guards it fiercely. When not blogging, sk*rting, writing, or working, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her handsome, heroic husband and her adventurous, adorable daughter. She is fond of running, reading non-fiction, and thinking up ways to help people in need. She also confesses that she watches Lost and Psych, but never on TV (time’s too precious to waste on commercials).
