Tea Collection – $100 giveaway

I have two (soon-to-be-three) little girls. They select their outfits each morning with care. Kayla prefers dresses. Liv insists on outfits without buttons or tags. They both like to wear lip gloss.

When they reach into the closet, they choose Tea Collection frequently. The fabric is soft. The colors are appealing. The designs are inspired by different regions of the world. Summer Fashion: Robeez

She still has the “new walker waddle” and I just can’t get enough of it.

I am enamored by the way she stands up, walks around, smiles a toothy grin…sometimes stopping to clap. It takes all of my willpower not to just scoop her up and bury her in kisses. But I try my best to just let her be as she explores the world and comes into her own.

Summer Fashion: UV Skinz

Just last week, I read another new study that asserts that Many Sunscreens May Be Accelerating Cancer (yes, accelerating!).

The news confirms my commitment to using only all-natural sunscreens…and to using them sparingly. Truth be told, I don’t like smearing the icky, oily stuff on anyway…and my babes aren’t big fans either.

The trouble, though, is that getting burned by the sun is also dangerous (and the sun comes out almost every day of the year here in Arizona).

My solution to this dilemma is twofold: Shade + Sun Protectant Clothing. Sun dresses and swimsuits with spaghetti straps are cute, but the coverage they offer is insufficient. Enter: UV Skinz, a California-based company that offers stylish sun protective swimshirts with a UPF rating of 50+. Options are available for men, women, babies, and kids. Most pieces retail for between $27-$43.

These pictures make my heart so happy! Maybe living in Arizona isn’t so bad, after all. Still…I’m looking forward to the cooler days of autumn when we can pull out our hiking boots and hit the trails as a family again.

Usually, she yells, “Don’t come in here!” while she lays everything out. Then, she takes me by the hand and proudly displays her choices. She beams, her smile lighting up the room. “Does it match?” she’ll ask. It almost always does. If not, I’ll say, “Well, that red kind of clashes with this orange, but you can still wear it if you want [and I mean it when I say that].
